The President shall: 

1. Preside at all meetings of the Board and of the chapter.
2. Appoint all Committee Chairpersons except the Nominating Committee.
3. Be an Ex-Officio (non-voting) member of all committees, except the Nominating Committee.
4. Fill vacancies by appointments ratified by the Board of Directors.
5. See that all duties and responsibilities implied in the chapter Bylaws and chapter Standing Rules are carried out.
6. Act as a delegate for Area 1 Council meetings, the Annual Delegates Meeting and the Annual Membership Meeting held at Harmony, Inc. international conventions, reporting in full to the chapter at the next regular meeting.
7. Be empowered to co-sign cheques or payments with the Treasurer.
8. Work with the Treasurer to approve or question bills or requests for payment as seems appropriate.
9. Maintain permanent paper and electronic files, to be turned over to her successor at the beginning of the new fiscal year.
